Welcoming the Uninvited
Being alone brings us freedom. It allows us to be flexible and compatible with the environment and what is happening around us.
Some people would like to take this to the next level because they might not like the others that much. There can be reasons for that; maybe they have been subjected to violence by someone else, maybe they were accused or maybe they just simply like to be alone a lot.
However, although we love to be alone we can be in need of somebody else. This person whether could be a relative, a friend, a partner; would not matter. Sometimes we really need this torrent of emotions to pass through our bodies and to have someone embrace us. There is no shame in that!
But then there's this opposite situation. You want to be loved by others, but they don't feel the same way. This doesn't have to mean expecting someone to love us back. They just don't care about us, don't feel much towards us, don't want to see or greet us. And do you know what is wrong with that? Nothing. People don't have to show a positive attitude towards one another. But if they do it in a hateful and disgusting way, then there is a problem. A problem that they have.
You don't have to be great. You don't have to be loved. But in the end, you are as human as they are. In fact, I strongly believe that you are a much better person than they are if you try to achieve to be a decent person.
We must always strive to be better character. Try to be a good person first, if you think you cannot do much. Smile for a day. Be kind. If you see a person who needs a hug or a friendly pat on the shoulder, be the one who gives that!
