Stolen Times
Throughout the years, humanity has faced a lot of deadly and serious pandemics. It is a continental or even a global catastrophe. And people have to survive of them one way or another.
Because we are in a more modern time, we get the news around the world easier and quicker. It was supposed to be an advantage for us to understand the structure of the virus. So we could find a cure or at least could find a better way to defend ourselves. It seems that there are some factors that prevent this situation. The main factor is the human beings themselves.
Sadly, we don't know how to be proactive against these disasters. I think that is understandable. No matter how many pandemics have been through time, its effect is always different in different eras. Modern times bring modern problems, aside from modern solutions.
There were, are and probably will be people who are against the common thoughts and ideas. People who are against what should have been done. What we have to do as humans, as unity, as people are trying to be decent and understandable people, we should explain to them what is good for them and for us. Unluckily, because of the pile of thought we have in these times, nobody wants to listen to one another and this brings chaos.
That is why explaining things might not be as effective as we guessed. We need to act, if possible. In our case, scientists are trying hard to find a useful cure, a treatment, a functional and proper vaccine to heal everyone. We really should be thankful to every healthcare worker around the world.
And what we shouldn't be thankful for are the people who stole our precious times. I'm not just talking about those who are not listening to you; I'm talking about those who condemn you or your loved ones to illness by spreading the disease. These people are dangerous. This is basically stealing your life. Stealing a story and history from this world is one of the biggest crimes. Because they all belong to a place, a moment, a time. They are all valuable in their own places.
