Indecisive Decisions

Sometimes, some people - including me - cannot decide what they want to do at that very moment. Can't pay attention, can't think properly and they might even forget what were they thinking about. It is like going to the kitchen, opening the fridge, doing nothing, and coming back to the room. But the difference is, the latter one was an oblivious/unaware action.

We cannot decide what to wear, what to eat, whom to talk to, where to go to, what to choose... Is it always because we have a pile of options or we just simply can't decide? Are we always tend to choose the best for us or the one that suits the moment best? I admit that is a very dependable question, but this causes me to be an indecisive person, I think.

If you are working, say, you are in a meeting and there is a critical issue that they want your opinion about. It is difficult, especially if they are looking for an immediate outcome from your mouth. You need to think strategically, try to find the best solution or even need to make a bad move to make things much better in the upcoming period. This takes time.

Then there are these simple ones. "Which flavour of ice cream do I want to eat right now? Chocolate or strawberry?" This may end up with the "both of them" option, though.

"Which company should I apply for?" Well, sometimes we just do not have enough luxury to choose for ourselves. We... just have to go for whatever option we have. And yes, it is totally understandable that we have anxiety, fear and hesitation. We tend to hold ourselves back while we decide something we are not sure about. (And this doesn't mean that we absolutely have to apply for anything and forget about our own quality, no. I think you understand what I mean.)

In these cases, I think, we should not forget that this will bring us new opportunities, experiences and outcomes. Gotta be fearless and sure.
